Gauge Scout ("the App") is developed by Connecticut River Design. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.
Gauge Scout does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not have user accounts or login systems.
The App displays publicly available data from the following sources:
All data is fetched directly from these public APIs to your device. No data passes through our servers.
Flow predictions are generated entirely on your device using bundled machine-learning models. No gauge data, location data, or usage data is transmitted off-device for this purpose.
Gauge Scout Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription managed entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not process or store any payment information. Subscription status is verified on-device through Apple's StoreKit framework.
If you enable notifications, they are generated locally on your device based on flow conditions. No push notification server is used.
Your gauge preferences, alert ranges, and cached data are stored locally on your device. This data is not accessible to us or any third party.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
